Leidos Holdings (formerly SAIC) provides a host of national security services to civil agencies of the US government, all branches of the military, and the intelligence community. Areas of expertise include cybersecurity; mission support; logistics; and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance. It also operates one of the country's largest health system integrators and offers engineering services for energy (oil, gas, and electric) and industrial clients. In 2016 Leidos merged with Lockheed Martin's Information Systems & Global Solutions segment to form a company focused on providing IT and intelligence services. The deal was valued at $5 billion.
